3089 Update: Improved visuals & fixes

Hey all,

I’ve been pretty busy with getting 3079 on Steam, but I have been getting back to 3089 & it is time for an update! This is mostly a handful of visual updates in response to some feedback. You shouldn’t feel so small in this update! 🙂

Screenshot - 11192013 - 12:40:08 PMSpawns have been improved — I noticed a bug that was severely limiting places robots could spawn on the ground, which has been fixed. You also shouldn’t see turrets & boxes trying to occupy the same space.

Head on over to the version history to see all the changes!

I have been getting good feedback in the forums — I apologize if I haven’t been responding as quickly as I have before, lots on my plate! Hope to have another 3089 update sometime next week (Thanksgiving break time!).

OK, back to work!

    • I’m contacting the IndieRoyale team, but I’m pretty sure IndieRoyale works off of Desura content & I’ve uploaded the update to Desura — it is just awaiting approval. Once it is approved, you should be able to re-download the installer and re-install to get the updates. Or, you could activate the game on Desura to get updates.

  1. “You also shouldn’t see turrets & boxes trying to occupy the same space.” I remember this would happen in 3079 too only it was usually a turret and an item occupying the same space. Fairly rare bug though.

  2. Liking the changes, looks smoother.

Two typos (since it said to report here): First in-hatch conversation, “Scortched” instead of Scorched, “Experiements” instead of Experiments.

(Might be a repost, though I think it ate my other one)
